Submission of Approved Master's Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation
When the master's thesis or doctoral dissertation has been accepted by the supervisor, the candidate must submit an electronic copy of the approved version through Scholars Commons. A copy will be sent to Library and Archives Canada for inclusion in the Theses Canada Portal. Theses will be made available on the Theses Canada Portal once, if any, embargo time has lapsed. Students, with the authorization of their supervisor and graduate coordinator, may place an embargo of up to one year in printed format and up to three years in electronic format through Scholars Commons, which will apply to off-site users only. In keeping with existing practice, all theses and dissertations will be available on-site, in a read-only format.
