How to Apply and Register
Spring LORIS Registration Instructions for Part-time Students
Step 1. Students who are new to Laurier (returning students proceed to step 2) must apply for admission through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). Admission information, including Letter of Permission, is available online at www.wlu.ca/admissions. The OUAC form can be found in the Forms section of this calendar.
Step 2. Login to LORIS beginning February 1, 2009 and select your courses.
Paper registration continues to be available using the Intent to Register form or the Course Change Request form. Return either form with your Online Learning Term form to the Office of the Registrar. Printable forms are available online from the forms section of the Office of the Registrar website: www.wlu.ca/registrar and the Online Learning website www.wlu.ca/onlinelearning.
Step 3. When you register online, you must fill out your Online Learning Term form at the same time. Read the instructions for completing the form carefully, especially when selecting your exam centre. If you register online, please complete your Online Learning Form online.
If you register by the appropriate registration deadlines with a completed Online Learning Term form (refer to the Important Dates section of this calendar), you may choose to have your materials shipped to your home (signature required) or to the Laurier Brantford Bookstore, at no charge. Requests for shipping after these dates are subject to a $50 shipping fee. Please note, if you select the Laurier Brantford Bookstore as your shipping location, you are responsible for verifying that your materials have arrived and picking them up.
