Professional Ethical Practice Requirement
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree is a professional program providing a pathway to professional practice and BSW students are governed by these standards of behaviour. The BSW program expects all students to be aware of and follow the Canadian Association of Social Workers and Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Work Ethical Standards while in the BSW program. In addition to university policies, procedures, regulations and other rules governing behaviour, the BSW program expects all students to adhere to all guidelines for ethical behaviour. Students will be required to affirm this in writing prior to the commencement of field education.
