Conestoga-Laurier Pathways Program
Applicants who do not meet minimum grade requirements for admission to Wilfrid Laurier University, but who provide a minimum of six midterm and/or final grades with an overall average of no less than 65% will have an opportunity to participate in the Conestoga-Laurier Pathways program. The program offers students an alternate entry route for future studies at Laurier. Eligible students will be referred after the last round of Offers of Admission are sent in mid-May. Referred students who are accepted by Conestoga College, and who complete the one-year General Arts & Science program with a minimum overall final average of 75%, with no failed or repeated courses, will be guaranteed admission to Laurier's Honours Arts program.
Students must apply to Laurier through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre by May 1 of the year they wish to enter Laurier and must provide their final Conestoga College transcript to Laurier's Recruitment & Admissions Office prior to registration. Up to 2.5 transfer credits may be granted upon admission. The amount and type of credits will be based on course selection and performance in the courses at Conestoga College. A minimum grade of B- (70%) must have been attained in any applicable courses for transfer credit consideration.
