Schedule of Tuition Fee Charges for Cancellation/Drop and Withdrawal

Important Definitions:

Cancellation: Cancelling registration before the academic term has begun.
Drop: Dropping a course(s) but remain registered in other(s) after the academic term has begun.
Withdraw: Withdrawing from all courses after the academic term has begun.

Course Rate:  Equivalent to the cost of 1.0 credit as approved by the Board of Governors fee schedule.

Tuition Charges for Dropped/Withdrawn Courses:

All tuition charges for dropped/withdrawn courses are calculated based on the Course Rate. The Course Rate for any term is equivalent to the cost of 1.0 credits as approved by the Board of Governors (refer to Fees section). Note: full-time student tuition is capped at a maximum fee. Refer to the appropriate fee chart in the Fees section.

Charges are calculated based on Course Weight multiplied by the Course Rate, to the maximum.

Two Term (full-year) Courses - are both billed and adjusted as if they were two separate courses charged each term, (i.e., if a two-term course is dropped after the last day to register and the last day to add classroom courses in the winter term, the student would be charged 100 percent of fall term and 55 percent of winter term).

Courses of Shorter Duration - deadline dates are pro-rated for courses of shorter duration (i.e., 6-week, 7-week or 8-week courses).
