Fee Procedures

NOTE: Fees are subject to change without notice based on approval by the Board of Governors.

Students are responsible for the payment of fees that arise from registration and are indebted to the university for fees incurred prior to the receipt of written Cancellation of Registration notification in the Office of Enrolment Services. A student is considered registered when a student registers in courses either via the web, using the Laurier Online Registration Information System (LORIS) or by submission and approval of the appropriate forms to Enrolment Services.

Students are responsible for residence fees incurred under the terms of the residence accommodation undertaking.

Precise costs of texts, videotapes and online learning fees for each online learning course are listed in the Online Learning Course Information section of the online Centre for Online Learning, Part-Time and Continuing Studies Calendar. The charge for videotapes is refundable if tapes are returned by the date for the term specified in the Important Dates section of the Centre for Online Learning, Part-Time and Continuing Studies Calendar.

Address Information/Changes
It is important, and the student's responsibility, to ensure that address information is up-to-date and accurate in case of emergency or important correspondence that would be mailed. Updating addresses is easily done through LORIS. In order to revise your address in "real time", login to LORIS. Once you have logged in, select
Personal Information and then
Update Address(es) and Phone(s).
Read the instructions for updating carefully
