The
Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship is housed within the School of Business
& Economics and delivers programming in support of academic courses
and research in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. The Centre
provides students
with experiential learning opportunities; supports the entrepreneurial
community; and facilitates the incubation of student business ideas.
Key activities for students include: the PepsiCo Pitch Competition and BDO New Venture Competition; the Laurier Start-Up Fund; Laurier Entrepreneurship Competition; Start-Up Laurier; Enactus Laurier; and the Laurier LaunchPad program which provides students with support and guidance to launch their businesses.
