Graduation: After Three Years of an Honours Degree Program
Students in honours BA and BSc programs will be allowed to graduate with a general degree without a major (or any other designation), if they meet the following requirements:
- having met the progression requirements for their program, they are eligible to enter Year 4 of their honours program
- all the courses normally constituting the first three years of their honours program are successfully completed
- a minimum of 15.0 credits are successfully completed.
Students eligible to enter Year 4 of an honours program may elect to receive a general degree with the major of their honours program (if applicable in that major), subject to meeting requirements of that general degree. Minimum GPA requirements must be satisfied, a minimum of 6.0 credits in the honours major (5.0 senior) must have been completed, and a minimum of 15.0 credits are required.
