Master of Science in Management Analytics

The MSc in Management Analytics is designed to provide students with the requisite skills to provide immediate contribution to business analytics projects. The MSc in Management Analytics is structured around three major pillars: Business analytics fundamentals; Analytics process and management; and Analytics applications across functional areas.

While these pillars will each be addressed in classes and activities throughout the program, the fall term will emphasize fundamentals, the winter term will emphasize the analytics process and management and the spring term will focus on applications in specialized functional areas.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements for the program will normally include a 4-year degree in business, economics or a quantitative discipline such as Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences or Engineering Sciences with a minimum overall GPA of B+ in the final two years. The applicant must normally have had a course in each of calculus and statistics with a grade of at least B+ in each of these courses. Applications must be accompanied by official transcripts and letters from at least two references including one academic reference.

For international applicants whose native language is not English, evidence of proficiency in both written and oral English is required for graduate studies at Laurier. Normally this evidence is a score of at least 100 in TOEFL or at least 7 in IELTS.
