General BSc Biology
The General BSc Biology program consists of a minimum of 15.0 credits, including at least 6.0 senior Biology credits. The program shall include no more than 7.0 100-level credits and requires at least 8.0 senior credits. The program must include the following:

BI206, BI226, BI236, BI256, BI266, BI276;
1.5 Biology credits at the 300-level (refer to Note 6);
1.5 additional senior Biology credits (refer to Note 6).
CH110 and CH111 (or CH130 and CH131);
CH202, CH250;
MA100 (or MA102), MA101 (or MA103),
ST231;
Degree Electives:
An additional 3.5 elective credits (refer to Note 5).
- Program is a graduation-only option; it may be declared at the time of applying to graduate.
- Graduation requires a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 and a minimum GPA of 4.0 in Biology.
- A maximum of two Minors/Options may be declared.
- A minimum of 6.0 senior credits must be completed at Laurier.
- Electives must included a minimum of 1.0 credit outside of Biology. 0.5 credit must be at the senior level; 0.5 credit must be from a discipline outside of the Faculty of Science.
- Senior BI electives must include a minimum 1.0 credit of courses that include a lab or field component.
- Senior HN and senior WASC courses count as senior BI courses to fulfill program requirements; grades earned are included in the Biology GPA.
- This program may not be combined with any other program.
- A maximum of two Concentrations may be declared. Completion of a concentration may come with additional requirements, including courses at the 400-level.
