Honours BA Geography in Combination with another Honours BA Program
The combined Honours BA Geography program consists of 20.0 credits, of which at least 8.0 credits, but at most 12.0 credits, must be in Geography.
Year 1: GG101, GG102
Year 2: GESC251, GESC254, GESC258, GESC290, GG260, GG270, GG281, GG282;
Year 3 & 4:
GESC399 (should be taken in Year 3),
GG369,
Either GESC450* or 1.0 ES, GG/GESC credit at the 400-level
In addition:
Students are required to take an additional 0.5 to 4.5 credits of GESC or GG courses, of which a minimum of 1.0 credit must be at the 300 or 400 level
- Progression into Year 2 requires a minimum GPA of 5.00 in GG101 and GG102 and a minimum overall GPA of 4.00. Progression into subsequent years requires a minimum overall GPA of 4.00. Graduation requires a minimum GPA of 5.00 in GG and GESC courses, and a minimum overall GPA of 5.00. Refer to second major for GPA requirements of that program.
- Program electives must include additional credits toward the degree total of 20.0 credits, which include all requirements for the second BA major.
