Certificate in Intermediate Economics 1
The Undergraduate Certificate in Intermediate Economics 1 consists of 2.0 credits. It may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.
Required courses (1.5 credits):
EC270 - Intermediate Microeconomics I
EC290 - Intermediate Macroeconomics I
EC295 - Introductory Econometrics
Elective course (0.5 credit):
0.5 credit in Economics (EC) at the 200 or 300 level
1. Admission to the Certificate requires previous credit EC120, EC140, EC285, and MA129 (or equivalent for external applicants). External equivalents must have been completed at the university level.
2. The certificate may be completed only once.
3. All courses (2.0 credits) must be completed at Laurier.
4. Not available to students registered in any program offered by the Department of Economics at Laurier.
5. Not available to students having previously graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree in an Economics discipline.
5. May not be awarded to visiting students (Exchange of Letter of Permission)
