Option/Minor in Another Field with Economics majors
Students in Honours BA Economics programs may choose to organize their elective courses in such a way as to meet the requirements for an option/minor to a maximum of two, in a subject other than Economics. Additional courses may be necessary to fulfill these requirements, as well as those of the honours program. The following regulations will apply:
- All common and program requirements for the option or minor must be fulfilled. (Refer also to the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Music, Faculty of Science, and Martin Luther University College. Student must achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 4.50 on all courses of the minor subject. This regulation does not apply when a greater minimum GPA is required for the option or minor chosen.
- 1.0 credit (or equivalent) taken on a Letter of Permission basis, may be counted towards the minor requirement.
- An honours student may receive designation for only two options/minors.
