Undergraduate Certificate in Food and Sustainability
The Certificate in Food and Sustainability consists of 2.5 credits and is completed concurrent
with a Laurier undergraduate Honours degree. Students must complete 1.0 credit from the
Required Course list, 1.0 credit from the Sustainable Food System Course list, and 0.5 credit
from the Sustainability Course list.

- Up to 1.5 credits from the Food and Sustainability Certificate can be counted toward the completion of degree programs in Geography and Environmental Studies.
- Courses for this certificate cannot be counted for any other minor or option offered by the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies.
- The certificate may only be completed once.
- For completion, a GPA of 6.00 in the courses included in the Certificate in Food and Sustainability is required.
- May only be completed in conjunction with a Laurier Honours undergraduate degree.
