Honours BA English in Combination with another Honours BA Program
The combined Honours English program consists of 20.0 credits, of which at least 14.0 credits must be at the senior level.
Required EN credits:
1.0 credit from 100-level EN courses
Minimum 2.0 credits 300-level EN courses
0.5 credits 400-level EN courses
3.5 additional credits from EN courses at the
200- or 300-level
= 7.0 credits
Degree Program Electives:
An additional 13.0 credits toward the degree total of 20.0 credits, which includes the second BA major.
- Students are encouraged to take EN245: British Literary Tradition I and EN246: British Literary Tradition II as part of their program.
- Students may choose a maximum of 1.0 credit from non-designated writing courses (EN206, EN304) toward the 7.0 required for the combined Honours English degree.
