Certificate in Quantitative Finance

The Certificate in Quantitative Finance consists of 2.5 credits.

The certificate program is offered on a part-time basis only and requirements must be fulfilled within three years from the date of entry.

MA170 - Introduction to Mathematics for Finance
MA220 - Mathematics for Data Analysis and Computing
MA270 - Financial Mathematics I
ST259 - Probability I 
ST260 - Introduction to Statistics

Program Regulations

  1. At least 2.0 credits of Certificate courses must be taken at Laurier
  2. Students must attain a minimum 5.0 cumulative GPA for Certificate completion
  3. Students who wish subsequently be registered in degree program may be granted advanced standing subject to senate and faculty regulations
