Year Level
The year level indicates the level at which a student is studying. The year level is calculated using the total number of credits earned and transfer credits.
Typically, the year level are as follows:
Year 1: Less than 4.00 credits
Year 2: 4.00 to 9.0 credits
Year 3: 9.25 to 14.0 credits
Year 4: Honours students only with a minimum of 14.25 credits
Year 5: Double degree students with 20.25+ credits
Year N: Student is not completing a degree granting program
Programs defining year levels in a manner other than the above must specify so in the calendar description.
