Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copy of dissertation/thesis/MRP (if applicable) to Scholars Commons, and receipt in the Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies Office of signed program/defence documentation for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55%).

Last day for withdrawing without failure from winter term courses or from the graduate program and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition assessed at 55%)

From this date until the end of term, if you drop a winter term course (students enrolled in programs where fees are based on course load) or withdraw from your program (all graduate students), you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100% tuition

1Last day to submit Application to Graduate form (penalty fee applies) for Spring Convocation. No forms will be accepted after this date.

Final deadline (no exceptions) for students who have applied to graduate to be eligible for the gold medal competition and
  • for submission of work to your instructor where an approved extension to complete coursework was granted (with documentation submitted to FGPS) for winter term courses, fall 2020 courses and GSAC-approved extensions from spring 2020),
  • for completion of all coursework including submission of final (post-defence) copy of dissertation/thesis/MRP (if applicable) to Scholars Commons, and receipt in FGPS of signed program/defence documentation

31Last day to submit MRP/thesis/dissertation for full refund; will be eligible to graduate (and eligible for medal competition) in fall 2021 (no exceptions).
