14 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for intersession. Distance education students are encouraged to register early. Eligible registrations received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. Courses may also be cancelled or closed
14 Early registration discount ends for Intersession (including distance education)
21 Final day for students registered in distance education courses to submit a distance education form requesting the required materials for those courses to be shipped at no charge. Shipping charges apply after this date.
21 Good Friday, university-observed holiday, no intersession classes

7 Intersession distance education kits available for pickup
17 Intersession fees due
30 Distance Education Office is closed for year-end inventory. University remains open
 
May, 2008
1 Final day to submit applications for spring convocation (late fee and application fee apply), refer to Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter. No applications will be processed after this date
2 Final day to cancel intersession registration with no tuition charge (cancellation fee applies)
5 Intersession begins
6 Final day for students to register for intersession distance education course(s) and submit a distance education form (pick-up of distance education materials at the Waterloo campus only)
6 Final day to add intersession classroom course(s)
7 Final day to drop intersession course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge
9 Final day to drop intersession course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
16 Final day to return intersession distance education textbooks for refund
19 Victoria Day, university-observed holiday, no intersession classes
 
June, 2008
2 Final day to drop intersession course(s) or withdraw without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
3 From this day until the last day of classes in this term, if you drop a six-week intersession course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
Jun 4 - Jun 6 Spring convocation (Waterloo Campus)
11 Spring convocation (Brantford Campus)
16 Make-up intersession Monday class for Victoria Day (Monday, May 19). Intersession classes end.
Jun 17 - Jun 18 Intersession study period
Jun 19 - Jun 23 Final intersession examinations - Students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)
23 Intersession ends
