Social policy is the arena in which citizens, professionals, non- governmental organizations, social movements, and government address social inequalities and underlying lived realities. The course explores intersectional power relations and diverse impacts on Indigenous peoples, women, racialized people and other social identities. It examines how sociology contributes to the development and analysis of social policy and programs.
