Climate change poses an existential threat to human and other life on Earth. This course examines climate change with a focus on political economy themes. Topics may include climate science; the relationship between climate, capitalism, inequality and colonialism; climate change, international relations and global governance; the political economy of green technology; backlash against climate action; and case studies from Canada and elsewhere.
