  • Lecture/Discussion: 3

Indigenous worldviews and traditions in Canada, both ancient and modern, merit special attention. This course explores their nature and history and the truths and unique perspectives they protect and honor. Emphasis is placed on benefits they may pose for the whole world, such as how best to satisfy basic human needs while protecting the environment, and how to live with others, find strength in groups, discover truths, honour ancestors, understand power, and respect and live in balance with the other beings and ideas.
