PhD Dissertation Writing 2 and Oral Defense

The dissertation, a major research study, (including arts-based research utilizing multimedia formats as pertinent to the student’s study) will be required along with its successful defense, and  will serve as the culminating evaluation. Each student works with a faculty advisor or advisors over the duration of the program. The student and advisor will establish deliverable dates where the student completes aspects of their study program, according to the outcomes designed and agreed upon ahead for time. It may also include an elective course.  Pathways through the degree program are flexible and will be adapted to the student’s research focus.
