This course examines the development of Lutheran systematic theology from 1580 to the present. The contributions of Protestant Orthodoxy, Pietism, Rationalism, Liberalism, Repristination, and Neo-orthodoxy will be included, as well as a study of current issues among Lutherans and for Lutherans in the church catholic.
