DD452
Capstone in Critical Game Design II
1.0 Credit - Winter

In this second stage of the senior capstone students will take original prototypes created in DD451* and refine them into portfolio-ready games while adding additional aesthetic elements. Using iterative design principles, students will engage in playtesting and redeveloping their prototypes as they continue to meaningfully reflect on their creations, and integrate instructor, peer, and player feedback through critiques and presentations. While the preceding capstone course emphasizes ideation and early prototyping, this course focuses on creating a reflective player experience through a finished game.
