This course introduces Teacher Candidates to the theoretical foundations and practical applications of curriculum integration to design relevant and meaningful instruction to support student learning and engagement at the Primary/Junior level. Teacher Candidates will examine models to assist designing and planning integrated instruction. Teacher Candidates will investigate an integrated learning cycle from its planning stages through to the final assessments and examine strategies for effective instruction and assessment to maximize student achievement and well-being.
