Extending Elementary Mathematics Content Knowledge

This course examines mathematics content taught in Ontario elementary schools with an increased focus on grades 7 to 9. Course content includes working hands-on with mathematics problems and tasks in order to support and develop personal understandings of the mathematics curriculum expectations in elementary school. The focus in this course will be the specialized content knowledge needed for teaching elementary school mathematics.
