Canadian Internship/Field Placement

This course involves participation in an internship or field placement with a human rights- or human diversity-related organization. To receive academic credit for the placement, the placement must be pre-approved by the program co-ordinator; it is normally expected that the placement will be least 84 hours in length; and the student will complete a combination of reflection and public engagement exercises.

Prerequisites
Permission of the Human Rights and Human Diversity program co-ordinator prior to beginning the internship; registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 Honours Human Rights & Human Diversity; and minimum overall GPA and HRHD GPA of 7.0 at the time of application. Completion of HR300 prior to partaking in the internship is preferred.
