Starting with the history and core theories of 20th century
social movements, including youth-led movements, this course
considers how evolving networks of social actors have
responded to and participated in processes of global change.
This includes attention to contemporary advocacy across
various issue areas, such as race, environment, Indigenous
rights, gender and sexuality
