EDA Spatial Knowledge Creation

This course focuses on the intersection of the environment and data science, highlighting the use of open source software, online data repositories, linked data, data processing tools and programs to create complex analytic workflows, applied over space and time. Students use and/or develop novel algorithms for learning patterns and predicting outcomes and explore the underlying methods/approaches in order to develop a generic environmental-analytic skill set that will prepare them for a wide variety of potential career paths.
