Foundations in Global Public Policy

IP699 prepares MBA/MIPP candidates for the second and third semester policy streams in the MIPP program. The course focusses on four knowledge and skill domains: the history of economic globalization and its political and social consequences; international policy studies as an extension of the policy cycle framework; the welfare economics paradigm; and empirical methods for scoping public policy problems and assessing policy interventions.
