This course explores advanced methods of critical game design, including simulation, procedural generation, and dynamic interactions between the player and the game system. Students will learn intermediate and advanced programming techniques in the creation of critically designed games. Software for this course will emphasize the affordances of software development kits for the creation of sophisticated digital games that convey particular ideas, beliefs, and values.
