An exploration of how artists and designers create meaning through interactivity. Drawing on a wide range of artifacts, from the design of everyday objects like doors and ovens to expressive media such as interactive films, comics, and games, students will learn how interactivity can be leveraged to convey messages and meanings. The class incorporates hands-on tutorials, demonstrations, lectures, discussions, and critiques.
