Politics, Policy and Globalization
0.5 Credit

This course draws on political science, political economy, and other disciplines to explore the linkages between globalization, policy and politics. The first section of the course takes up the major theories (such as liberalism, realism, and constructivism) that seek to explain the dynamics of policy regime formation at the international level. The second section asks what impact economic and cultural globalization is having on the domestic political dynamics that structure policy formation.
