God and Globalization
0.5 Credit
This course will explore the social and ethical impact of economic globalization and alternative approaches proposed by faith groups that can lead to more just, participatory and sustainable forms of globalization. Economic globalization is a pervasive force shaping many facets of common life. Faith groups have historically had a wider and richer understanding of economy as more than a function of markets. Many churches have played an important role in addressing questions of debt, corporate social responsibility, fair trade and other issues.
