This writing-intensive seminar course provides students with opportunities to engage in the in-depth examination and application of contemporary theoretical frameworks that inform current criminological research and writing. Students will read original works of theorists who have been influential in the field of criminology and will examine the application of these theories in contemporary contexts. This course is highly recommended for students who intend to pursue graduate studies.
