The focus of this class is to familiarize students with the
multidisciplinary methods used by User Experience (UX) designers to
understand user needs and behaviours, and to evaluate the usability of
systems, products and services. Students are introduced to key issues
and practices in UX research, including procedures, resources needed,
appropriate uses, benefits, and costs. They explore UX research designs
including experimental and non-experimental, as well as quantitative and
qualitative research methods.
