This course examines the ways in which justice is done in the aftermath of mass atrocities such as genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The course will address general approaches to justice after conflict (such as lustration, apology, reconciliation and criminal prosecution) and specific national and global mechanisms (such as War Crimes Tribunals, the International Criminal Court, Truth and Reconciliation Commissions).(Cross-listed as CC326.)†
