Survival Analysis

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, theoretical basis and statistical methods associated with survival data. Topics include censoring and truncation, Kaplan-Meier estimators, log-rank statistics, parametric models, proportional hazards models, competing risks and recurrent events. Models and techniques will be illustrated using examples from a variety of fields including medical and clinical research, insurance, and finance.
