Snow and the Environment

This course examines the processes controlling the snowcover and the implication of this to the ecology and hydrology of Canada. Applications to water resources, hydrological prediction and terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems will be considered. Learning will be through lectures, laboratory assignments and, when possible, field data collection. (Physical Geography)
