Media and the News in French

Taught in French. This course introduces students to contemporary French and Francophone cultures through an active study of francophone media: TV, the Internet, radio broadcasting, printed news and magazines. Topics will vary according to current trends and the interest of students. The course will require active participation from the students, both inside and outside of the classroom. It will provide experiential learning through hands-on activities and occasions to collaborate with local Francophone media and institutions.
