Doctoral Pastoral Counselling Studies: Family Systems and Pastoral Care II

An extensive introduction in the use of current models in family assessment to understand basic issues and treatment approaches in family therapy, with an overview of a variety of family profiles, including ethnic families, blended families, one-parent families, and families under stress. The objective is to familiarize the student with the process of family assessment in the context of a variety of family profiles and related issues for family therapy. Attention will be given to pastoral and religious concerns.  (For DMin students only or with permission of the instructor.)
