Major Research Paper (MRP)
0.0 Credit

The Major Research Paper (MRP) marks the final requirement of the EMTM program. It is completed as a student is also finishing the final course(s) for the degree. The students must register for the MRP in Term 2 and Term 3 of the Masters program. The research topic may grow out of an interest developed in one or more courses, but the final product requires more extensive inquiry and explication than is required of a term paper. The MRP is supervised by one faculty member who has the responsibility to assess its completion (or to request revisions until it is judged acceptable). The paper must be presented to an advisory committee consisting of members of the teaching team, all of whom must be members of the Graduate Faculty.
