Strategic Management and Technology
0.5 Credit

Strategic management is the process of building alignment between organizational capabilities and contextual opportunities, in order to create value for a broad set of stakeholders. Because the technology field changes rapidly, the focus in this course is on strategy-making as an ongoing process, and on exploring facets of the global operating domain – economic, social and environmental drivers – as the context for business and corporate strategy. We approach strategy as design, and bring critical, integrative, and strategic thinking to bear on challenges in strategic management.
