Epidemiology of Physical Activity and Health

This course focuses on the current understanding of the ways in which epidemiologic methods (e.g., analytic designs such as cohort studies) can be utilized to enhance our understanding of the relationship between physical activity and health. General concepts of epidemiological methods are discussed as well as a more detailed evaluation of the relationship between physical activity and health conditions such as hypertension, coronary heart disease and obesity.
