This course examines the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as discourses, institutional frameworks and processes. Using country-specific and thematic case studies, it explores what is involved on the ground to advance selected SDGs. It also reflects on differences between the UN SDGs and other alternative notions of sustainable development.
