This course engages Teacher Education Candidates (TECS) in examining education in comparative and international contexts. TECs will examine how global education can be incorporated into Canadian school contexts so that students can be more effective global citizens. As well, TECs will consider education in international contexts such as in fragile and developing world contexts so as to develop a broader understanding of how education is viewed and actualized in different parts of the world.
