A psycho-sociological examination of injuries sustained through participation in sport and physical activity and the subsequent rehabilitation, taking a multidimensional approach that includes psycho-social, cognitive, and behavioural components. Special attention will be given to a team approach to the psychological rehabilitation of injured people including a wide variety of professionals and health care providers such as kinesiologists, various types of physicians athletic, physical, occupational, recreational, and massage therapists, coaches, mental performance consultants, and athletes.
