Sociocultural Aspects of Sport

This course for non-majors will use a thematic approach to explore various sociocultural aspects of sport including, but not limited to, sociology, philosophy and ethics, history. Topics and course emphasis will vary from year to year. For example: hockey and Canadian culture; globalization and football.
