An introductory overview of business fundamentals for non-business students interested in pursuing entrepreneurship. The course addresses the overall business environment, considers broad political, economic, social and technological considerations, as well as tools to help analyze various industry dynamics. Basic entrepreneurial start-up concepts—such as idea generation and the business model canvas—will also be addressed, along with the functional fundamentals of marketing, operations, human resources, and finance.
